About Arts Milton
Arts Milton "creates community with the arts" by encouraging and promoting visual, literary and performance artists, as well as supporting heritage groups in Milton and the surrounding area.
In conjunction with our members, we support and encourage the many professional, amateur and emerging artists in the Milton area.
Through the vision, passion and dedication of the 100% volunteer Board of Directors, event volunteers and members, Arts Milton is helping to bring the arts community alive in Milton.
Our Objectives For the community:
- to stimulate the enjoyment and understanding of the arts
- to enrich the cultural atmosphere in the Milton area
- to enhance awareness of local arts events
For Arts Milton members:
- to coordinate the resources, activities and talents of arts groups and individuals in the community
- to be your voice regarding the Milton Centre for the Arts and arts and culture policy for the Town of Milton.
- to provide expertise and advice on topics such as funding, marketing and management
- to assist in promoting your events and activities through the media and the community
